We are currently seeking additional players to form a core 10 man team for raiding. Currently in need of 1-2 healers (preferably a Shaman), 1 tank (any), and some dps. Interested persons should contact an officer in game or replay to one of our recruiting threads (Wowhead, Warlock's Den).

No, i'm not dead yet. Michelle is taking some time away from WoW and i've been spending a LOT of time working on training the puppy - and the 4 or 5 hours i do spend on video gaming in a given week (as opposed to 40 or 50 i used to spend) is now being spent on FF12 since it's been three years i had it and until a month ago i had only logged 5h11m. I'm now up to a whopping 21h and level 24 a month later!! :p

Also, spending a fair bit of time lately with job-related stuff --- currently in 3 (soon to be 4) competitions for new jobs at different departments with the aim of getting back into tech support. As such, every time a new step in the competition comes along I dive into it until I am happy that there is nothing I can do to improve my resume/essay answers - depending on what i'm being asked for at the time. (Roughly translated that works out to be roughly 35-40 hours in the week or so that they give me - at nights/over the weekend).

We are currently able to run all of the available instances, and i would like to master Malygos as soon as we can. Everybody please watch the tankspot video (link in forums) - this is a very intricate fight that is a strict dps race. If, 10 minutes after starting, Malygos is not dead, he enrages and we die. I don't expect to 1-shot him our first try in there, but the more we know going in, the faster we'll have him down.

So, we were mentioned in this weeks "Guild Watch" over at WoW Insider. We're in the "Drama" section for being the first guild in Dalaran on our server. Thanks to whoever it was that sent in the email to them about it - cool to see our name up there, even if they are slightly mocking in their "way to...set your hearthstone first?" comment. :)

I have regiserted at http://www.no-ip.com and will be creating a TeamSpeak server since several guild members have issues connecting to Ventrilo. TeamSpeak, while not as widely used, still provides many similar features to Vent, with the exception of individual user voice control - though the general sound is supposed to be "more true sounding".

This should allow an unlimited number of people to connect to the voicechat program, it will allow me to setup a password which will also allow me to leave the system running so that the program is accessible even when my personal computer is not powered on. This will be setup on my spare pc, which has no personal data and therefore will not bother me if i need to rebuild it at some point (i'd rather that pc that MY pc).

I hope to have this up and running for weekend testing - so if you don't already have it, you can download teamspeak from http://www.goteamspeak.com.

It would be great to be able to do the end-game 10 and 25-man runs as a single guild run. A typical 25-man run consists of 6 healers, 2-4 tanks and the rest dps (mixture of melee/aoe caster). Off the top of my head I can think of 3 main tanks, 4 people with alt-tanks, 5 healers (though at least one is currently leveling as dps spec - we'll see if they want to stay that way at 80) and a mixture of melee and ranged/caster dps.
I can come up with 15 names off the top of my head who would be able and willing to do runs. That's a good start. Surprisingly the place we seem to be lacking the most is in main-toon dps. We need a few healers and maybe a tank or two, but getting some more dps is the biggest way we can get our numbers up to do the "heroic" raids in this expansion.

If you know anybody who can follow instructions, won't be a drama queen about wiping or not winning rolls on loot (hey - we all want it, that's why we're here!), and will be a constructive member of the guild, check if they'd be interested in joining our guild of "real life first raiders".
